VAULT-TEC COMMUNITY OPERATIONS MANUAL
Part I — Vault Entry Protocol (Twitch Chat)
Document Code: VTB-OPS-A113
Applies to: Streamer, Moderators, Bots
Purpose: Provide a consistent, on-brand “arrival experience” for every chatter, while routing them to Discord, Prime/Sub support, and community nights.
Lore & Tone Alignment (for flavor + consistency)
- Use Vault-Tec’s cheerful, corporate-safety vibe: helpful, a little too enthusiastic, never grim.
- Canon touchstones to keep us on-model:
- The Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide is literally framed as a Vault-Tec publication (tone: earnest, procedural, optimistic).
- The original VDSG manual opens with “Welcome to Vault-13… Vault-Tec, America’s Final Word in Homes.” Use that cadence: confident and reassuring. (Paraphrased from the manual.)
- Periodic taglines (e.g., “Better Living Underground”) are fine as nods—use sparingly as section headers or button copy.
A. Trigger Points (when this protocol fires)
- First-time chatters (Twitch “First-Time Chatter” badge detected)
- Raiders (on raid event)
- Followers/Subs/Prime renewals (on follow/sub events)
- Quiet joins (viewer appears in chat list but hasn’t spoken—mods can soft-ping after 5–10 minutes)
Bots to configure: StreamElements or Nightbot (either is fine).
B. Standard Welcome Scripts (copy/paste)
B1) First-Time Chatter (mod or bot)
